Duke and Michigan State will battle it out Saturday with both teams undefeated the spread is set at -1.5 favoring Michigan with home court advantage. This makes the first game all season Duke will go into as a underdog. Historically Duke has lead the all time series 15-4, the most recent meeting being a Duke victory 74-65 in November of 2023.

A few key players that would shift the game for Duke will be Cameron Boozer averaging of 23.6 points and 9.3 rebounds, Returning sophomore Patrick Ngongba II with 12.6 points and 6.3 rebounds also leading the team in blocks per game with 1.6, and Isaiah Evans averaging 12.6 points per game. With an 11.6% higher feild goal percentage and averaging 2.0 steals at away games, Cameron Boozer has no trouble playing in opposing territory.

Michigan States top scorer Senior Forward Jaxon Kohler averaging 24.8% field goal percentage wise less at home than away. Michigan State is 5th in the Big Ten led by Jeremy Fears jr. with 19.3 assists per game. Duke averaging 28.7 more points a game than Michigan State gives up to an opponent, there’s no question the Spartan defense will be tested.

Michigan state coming off two dominant victory’s with a home game win 71-52 against Iowa and neutral site victory versus #16 UNC 74-58. Duke with a close home court stand of 67-66 squeaking a victory against #15 Florida.

Hall of Fame coach Tom Izzo is in his 31st season as Michigan States head coach will be looking for first home win against Duke since 2010.
