Line: Alabama -1.5
Oklahoma looks to defend their turf in Norman against SEC rival Alabama, Oklahoma’s last game being a slim victory over LSU ranking them No.8.
Coming off their 28-7 loss to Georgia in the SEC championship, Alabama surprisingly does not fall in the rankings.

Alabamas defense allowed Gunner Stockton to go 20-26 for 156 yards and to rush for 39 yards and completed 3 touchdown passes.
The Alabama offense had a total of -3 rushing yards against Georgia, a 4th ranked in rushing defense, Oklahoma ranks 5th in rushing defense. Now out of the Heisman race, Ty Simpson went 19/32 for 212 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception for a QBR of 19.9. Simpson had 6 carries for -28 yards his longest rush being 1 yard.
The Sooner offense doesn’t look too much more consistent, Oklahoma was able to hold out against a struggling 7-5 LSU team. With John Mateer going 23/38 for 318 yards 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions and a QBR of 53.8 it’s hard not to think this game will be decided by whoever goofs up the most.
My Predictions:
I see this game having a similar score as the Nov 15th matchup between these teams, Sooners winning in Tuscaloosa 23-21. Oklahoma did show up when it mattered most against LSU, after being down 10-3 late in the 3rd quarter, the Sooners rallied with 2 explosive touchdowns. With Oklahoma’s ability to limit the run and create explosive shots deep, the Sooners should be able to advance to the next round, covering the +1.5 spread.
