The 15 day transfer window will open January 2nd and close January 16th, anyone in the CFP/Championship Game will have an additional 5 day window Jan 20th-24th. A new head coaching change no longer triggers an immediate 30-day transfer window. Players now receive a 15 day transfer period that begins 5 days after a new head coach is officially hired, potentially creating a more stable team environment with 5 days for new coaches to keep/recruit potential transfers.
At the time of this writing this is a recent list of the top talent already declaring for the transfer portal, keep in mind it’s common for a player to declare for the portal to leverage NIL compensation with booster collectives.
