No.10 Miami seemingly squeaked by Notre Dame to represent the ACC in this year’s playoffs and in the wake, Texas A&Ms fan base grew this week with many Notre Dame fans rooting for the Aggies ironically Notre Dame lost to Texas A&M in week 2 limiting their playoff chances.

Miami QB Carson Beck is no stranger to chasing titles with back to back National Championships during his time as back up to Stetson Bennett at Georgia, completion percentage wise Beck is having the best year of his starting career with a average of 74.7% completion percentage. Beck also ended the regular season on a high note against Pitt going 23/29 for 267 yards, 3 passing touchdowns, and 1 interception.

Miamis defense was able to limit Pitt to 30 rushing yards, pressured for 4 sacks, and held Pitt on 3rd down 70% of conversion attempts.

Texas A&M will be looking to tighten up on offense after their loss to Texas despite having 5 more minutes of possession, 8 penalties and 2 interceptions hampered the Aggies ability to hold the 10-3 lead they established in the first half. Aggies defense allowed a 35 yard touchdown run by Arch Manning in the middle of the 4th and Texas A&M offensively was unable to rally back, Marcel Reed throwing a game sealing interception late in the 4th quarter.

The stage is set for Miami to go into College Station and wipe their ass with Texas A&M, showing Notre Dame the Hurricanes deserve to be a playoff team.
