The Red Sox have traded 29 year old Tristian Gray to Minnesota for 24 year old Cather/first baseman Nate Baez. Gray was just acquired from Tampa Bay in November of 2025 for Luis Gerrero and never played for Boston.

Nate Baez has played 4 seasons in the minors, I’m 2025 he split 96 games between High-A and Triple-A with a batting average of .278, .794 OPS, and 8 homers.
