Eugenio Suarez has officially signed a 1-year $15 million contract with the Cincinnati Reds. Suarez returns to Cincinnati where he played the 2015-2021 seasons. The deal includes a $16 million mutual option in 2027, the 2x All-Star is expected to be posted at DH.

Coming off a season where he tied his career high of 49 home runs in 2025 which ranked him 5th in the league. Suarez was 4th in the league in RBI with 118. In April of 2025, Suarez homered 4 times in a single game while on the Diamondbacks, making him one of the 21 to ever do it in Major League Baseball.
