Miami defense holds out against Texas A&M, final:10-3, Offensively the Hurricanes relied heavily on Running Back Mark Fletcher Jr. with 17 carries for a career high of 172 yards and a longest of 56 yards. Miami Defense was able to get 7 sacks and 2 interceptions on Marcel Reed keeping Texas A&M from tying it up late.
Ohio State is coming off 2 weeks rest and a motivating loss to No.1 Indiana. Defensively Ohio State is ranked among the best in the nation, giving me reason to believe they’ll cover the -9.5 point spread with the help of multiple 1st round wide receivers and Heisman candidate Julian Sayin. Ohio States inability to finish in the red zone gave Indiana the Big Ten Championship. Coach Ryan Day in a postgame presser called the game “a major lesson to learn for this team”. Very positive signs for the Buckeyes as in 2024 a loss to Michigan resulted in Ohio State dog walking opponents in the post season.
My Predictions:
Miami barely bested Texas A&M, with the inconsistency on offense in big time moments leads me to believe Ohio States defense will have no problem keeping Miami off the field. Julian Sayin and the offense has had plenty of time to work out their problems and set focus on a standard of championship football.
